John Lloyd Young is best known for creating the role of Frankie Valli in the Broadway musical Jersey Boys, for which he received the Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and Theatre World Awards as well as the Best Leading Actor in a Musical Tony Award. Young then reprised the role in the West End production of the show as well as in director Clint Eastwood’s film adaptation. He also performed at the White House and was appointed by President Barack Obama to the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities.
