In Living Out, a modern juggling act, an illegal Salvadoran immigrant with children of her own takes a job as nanny for a harried entertainment lawyer. Both women are well-educated, have husbands who do not understand why their wives feel the need to work; both want to be good parents, and both women are less-than-honest with their employers in order to keep their jobs and move up. This hilarious and heart-wrenching play looks at the very contemporary issue of who cares for your children while you’re out making a living.
