Set in the “ancient-future”, 12 characters meet the real life challenges of homosexuality, discrimination, gang violence, and racial tension, through the grace and strength of their friendships, love, faith, and family ties. Their hearts courageously contend with the confusion and pain of senseless hatred, violence, and death. The audience is witness to the beautiful awakening, resurrection and rebirth of each individual’s heart and soul, as they triumph through the darkness.
