About the Show
CATS is based on T.S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, a 1930’s book of poems written for his godchildren. The book features an assembly of cats with distinctive personalities. Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s CATS takes place in an oversized junkyard where “Jellicle” cats are reuniting for their annual Ball. Audiences will see them all come to life… the only actors in Cats are cats.
