Lord of the Flies

The Shaw Festival is proud to present the North American premiere of Nigel Williams’ adaptation of Lord of the Flies. This adaptation of William Golding’s great novel was written for a school performance and was subsequently taken up by the Royal Shakespeare Company. It traces the descent into savagery of a group of British schoolboys who are stranded without adults somewhere in the South Pacific just after the Second World War. This production is directed by Neil Munro.
