About the Show

Wise, funny and affectionate, 1933 seeks for truth in the no man’s land between what is and what might be. In the depths of the Great Depression, the eldest son of Italian immigrants faces high school graduation and the prospect of laying bricks with his father for the rest of his life…in Boulder, Colorado. Dominic dreams of pithching in a major league, when his dream and his reality take a collide, he takes a big step. He leaves Boulder to make it in the real world.
