The Emperor’s New Clothes

About the Show

The Emperor’s New Clothes is based on the classic fairytale by Hans Christian Andersen. Fun, action, magic, laughter and lots of audience participation are in store. The tale of the Emperor who’s deceived by two mischievous tailors who promise him a magic suit, invisible to those who are dull, ignorant or unfit for their position. Refusing to admit he can’t see it, the Emperor parades the suit before his entire kingdom. The only person with the courage to speak the truth is an innocent child. In the end, the Emperor learns that no matter how grand you think you appear… the only thing that matters is what’s on the inside. And teaches students the importance of speaking the truth – even if no one else will.
