Underneath the Lintel

Glen Berger’s Underneath the Lintel explores the myth of the "Wandering Jew" and will be the second play presented in the 2008 Stage III Season and was the winner of the 2001 Ovation Award for "Best Play."

A small town civil servant, in a socialistic society, unlocks an ancient myth embarking on a quest to find who anonymously returned a book, 113 years overdue. A clue scribbled in the margin and an unclaimed dry-cleaning ticket takes us on a magical adventure that spans the globe and the ages.
