About the Show
Set in Truvy’s Beauty Spot in the Deep South, this semi-autobiographical play lets us in on the lives of the women of Chinquapin, Louisiana. Both hilarious and heartwarming, Steel Magnolias first opened Off Broadway to critical acclaim in 1987 and went on to success in film. Steel Magnolias features Elizabeth Dimon, Margery Lowe, Pat Nesbit, Angie Radosh and Laura Turnbull.
