Based on Avrom Goldfadn’s The Fanatic or The Two Kuni-Lemls, Nahma Sandrow’s musical makes light of a young woman and her arranged marriage. Kuni-Leml explores the wistfulness of true love set against stern Odessa in the 1880s. Jessica Phelps West directs Vince Tortorici, Wendy Melkonian and Gregory Thomas Isaac in this endearing production.
