A Child’s History of Bombing is a multi-media, interactive, live documentary that takes a Neo-Futurist look at explosives, the advent of aerial bombing, and the role of racism in the development of “military ethics.” Founding Director Greg Allen begins by using interviews with his uncle, a prominent chemist in the Manhattan Project, and moves on to examine Los Alamos, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Bikini Atoll, Vietnam, and the current war in Iraq. Bombing uses the perspective of a child to examine this convoluted history, assuming nothing, taking nothing for granted and asking the simplest question: Why?
