About the Show
Set in the early 1900s, Jan De Hartog’s The Fourposter follows the journey of a couple through the hills and valleys of a twenty year marriage. Michael and Agnes negotiate the terrain of love, career, disappointments, diapers, compromise, joy, infidelity, disillusionment and the empty nest, proving that the marital journey remains pretty much the same across the centuries.
