About the Show

Under Our Clothes, written and directed by Lisa Rosenthal, is an exploration of the interior life of women. The play is presented at various locations to benefit Chicago Women’s Health Center (CWHC). Bonding over a vodka-filled ice-cube tray in a college dormitory, Keisha, Andrea, Eve, Beth, Sam and Mona – the Cube Girls – are co-eds with little in common except for a love of alcohol. How their lives intersect and evolve over time is the physical and emotional journey of womanhood.

Each performance is followed by a post-show discussion by CWHC Executive Director Courtney Bell or another outreach education staff member, and a reception.
