Isabel Fox, a poet on the verge of a divorce, puts her head in the oven in a half-baked suicide attempt. Charles, her neighbor, smells the gas and becomes Isabel’s savior, leading his mother Helen, and Isabel’s dad, George, to meet and discover that they have similar interests.
