The Miss Education of Jenna Bush

About the Show

Melissa Rauch’s (VH-1’s Best Week Ever) critically acclaimed solo-show, The Miss Education of Jenna Bush, tells the story of the President’s notoriously rebellious daughter who, having just awoken from a blow-out kegger, prepares for her new job teaching fourth graders. From underage drinking citations and (alleged) pot smoking to America’s public school system, Miss Jenna rewrites history with an unforgettable lesson plan.

The Miss Education of Jenna Bush, co-written by Melissa Rauch and Winston Beigel (who also directs), had its world premiere as part of the 2005 New York International Fringe Festival, where the sold-out hit received The Fringe Award for Outstanding Solo Show in addition to the TheaterMania Audience Favorite Award. The show was subsequently selected to be performed as part of the 12th Annual U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado this past March.
