tick…tick…BOOM! is an intimate, three-person musical that tells of Jonathan Larson’s early days as a struggling artist in SoHo. It’s the week of Jonathan’s 30th birthday. His girlfriend wants to get married (tick), his best friend is working on Madison Avenue and moving uptown (tick) and Jonathan is still waiting tables and trying to write the great American musical before time and, unbeknownst to him, life, passes by (BOOM!). tick…tick…BOOM! is a pop rock musical about daring to hope, living life fully, and finding the courage to chase your dreams.
