Pump Boys and Dinettes is a mixture of cabaret, pop concert, and musical theatre written and conceived by John Foley, Mark Hardwick, Debra Monk, Cass Morgan, John Schimmel and Jim Wann. The Pump Boys sell the high octane on Highway 57 and the Dinettes, Prudie and Rhedda Cupp, run the Double Cupp Diner next door. Together they fashion a night of songs that received raves from New York critics.
