Celebrate Shakespeare

Three stages…strolling performers…backstage tours…Boston Common will be bustling with laughter and learning on Sunday, August 6, 2006 when The Wang Center for the Performing Arts presents Celebrate Shakespeare, a series of workshops leading up to an educational and entertaining evening in celebration of the Bard!

Sponsored by John Hancock, Celebrate Shakespeare will feature a special guest appearance by Ty Giordano, star of stage and screen. The fun and festive free event will include workshops, readings and interactive games and activities concluding with a performance of The Wang Center’s Commonwealth Shakespeare Company (CSC) production of Shakespeare’s classic comedy, The Taming of the Shrew.
