About the Show
Kamala is an original Indian play in English based on the real-life experience of a journalist who in the early 1980s exposed a social malaise that continues to pervade contemporary India. The putrescent issues the play brings to the fore are slave trade and male chauvinism, the two most insidious problems that malign the lives of millions of women in India.
