Hailed as one of the greatest musicals of all time, the classic musical, My Fair Lady, is the timeless story of Professor Henry Higgins (played by “The Nanny’s” Charles Shaughnessy, star of The Nanny and Days of Our Lives), a crotchety, middle-aged bachelor and phoneticist and Eliza Doolittle, the poor, Cockney flower girl, who becomes part of his experiment in order to transform herself into a “lady.” The story, based upon George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion, features a book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe.
