Due to overwhelming demand a second date has been added for Howard Zinn. Boston area audiences will have an opportunity to hear beloved historian and activist Howard Zinn’s new work: Voices of a People’s History of the United States (Seven Stories Press). This long-awaited companion volume to Zinn’s national bestseller A People’s History of the United States, recounts this country’s passage through its history in rare and, in many cases, little known writings by the people that are usually written out of history books.
Attendees can look forward to a welcome and short comedy monologue by Jimmy Tingle, an interview with Mr. Zinn, and a question and answer period with the audience. Mr. Zinn’s book Voices of a People’s History of the United States will be available for purchase and signing.
Appropriate for ages 14+.
