After being bullied relentlessly, 17 year-old student Aaron Fricke from Cumberland, Rhode Island sued his high school in 1980 for the right to escort his boyfriend to his senior prom. In the tradition of The Diary of Anne Frank and To Kill a Mockingbird, this play deals with issues of bullying and prejudice.
