Searching for My Own True Voice: One Deaf Woman’s Story

KR Glickman, a Beverly resident, was born deaf. She communicates with her hands and liquid, lively facial expressions. Searching for My Own True Voice emerged from KR’s desire to share the experience of growing up in a silent world. The performance, which will be performed in American Sign Language with a voice interpreter, is a welcome mat to her world and to a fuller understanding of the deaf experience.
