About the Show

Perhaps Nobel Prize winner Samuel Beckett’s most cheerful play, Happy Days strips theater to its barest essentials to reveal a middle-aged couple’s inspirational appreciation of life’s mysteries, surprises, miracles and grace. Winnie is a woman who, burried up to her waist in earth and surrounded by a few essentials–toothbrush and toothpaste, handkerchief, eyeglasses, a revolver–contemplates her life and the life around her.
