The Twin Cities’ FIRST fully-staged non-touring version of Seussical: The Musical is being presented by Heritage Theatre Company of Maplewood (HTC) with stage direction by local theater favorite Christopher Teipner.
Using characters and verse from 20 of Theodor Suess Geisel’s–known to most as Dr. Seuss–most beloved stories, Seussical’s main plot involves Seuss’ most lovable icon, Horton the Elephant, and his efforts to save his new friend Jojo as well as the other inhabitants of Who located on a speck of dust he places on a clover for safekeeping. His mission is peppered by many obstacles inflicted on him because his fellow Jungle of Nool inhabitants think he’s lost his mind and is talking to invisible people.
