The Rocky Horror Show

Swing Low Theatre Company presents Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show at the Old Arizona Main Studio.

The Rocky Horror Show is a combination rock musical and Sci-Fi movie spoof originally produced in 1973 at the Royal Court Theatre in London. In 1975 it was made into the movie that became a cult phenomenon. The musical features the hit songs “Sweet Transvestite,” “Time Warp,” and “Hot Patootie.” It tells the story of what happens to an unsuspecting couple when they run into a Transylvanian mad scientist eager to spread his doctrine of “absolute pleasure.” The Rocky Horror Show enjoyed an extremely successful Broadway revival in 2001, and now in its 31st year it continues to be performed worldwide to sold-out audiences.
