Sanders Family Christmas

City Theatre (formerly City Players) presents the St. Louis Premiere of the hit bluegrass gospel musical, Sanders Family Christmas (Smoke on the Mountain, Part II).

The sequel to the hit Smoke on the Mountain, this musical about the ever-endearing Sanders family has proved to be just as big a hit with audiences around the nation. The Sanders family rolls into the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church where the audience serves as members of the congregation. Set on the eve of WWII, the same warm and charming personalities return to present an evening filled with traditional bluegrass gospel music, song, and holiday cheer – and just a touch of romance!

There will be no show on Thursday, Dec. 25th. There will be an additional matinee on Saturday, Dec. 27th at 2 p.m.
