In a Galaxy Far, Far Away… Rowan University Wind Ensemble

For the Department of Music’s final student performance of 2022, our Wind Ensemble presents “In A Galaxy Far, Far Away,” a thrilling musical exploration of The Hero’s Journey. The program culminates with “Star Wars Trilogy,” a five-movement musical adventure through the first three Star Wars films. John Williams, who celebrates his 90th birthday this year, composed these timeless scores in the 1970s and 1980s. His music has since inspired filmmakers, composers, and audiences for generations. We invite you to join the fun by dressing up as your favorite Star Wars movie or television character. A costume contest (with $150 top prize) will be held during intermission!
