Burnt Sugar the Arkestra Chamber, featuring guitarist Vernon Reid of Living Colour and conductor Greg Tate, performs sets in tribute to James Brown and Steely Dan in an exciting mix of musical tradition and cutting-edge technology.

In a free performance as part of NJPAC’s Sounds of the City outdoor concert series, the group freely juggles a wide swath of the experimental soul-jazz-hip-hop spectrum. This accomplished crew has playing credits with Toshi Reagon, DJ Logic, Phish and others.
