Funky Meters

Throughout a 31-year history, the Funky Meters (“Fiyo on the Bayou”) have grooved their way around the globe as the founding fathers of funk. Originally featuring brothers Art and Cyril Neville, the New Orleans band has performed with the Rolling Stones, Dr. John and Paul McCartney. The regrouped Meters retain their trademark sound, blending funk, blues and dance grooves with a Big Easy vibe. High and Mighty Brass Band! opens the free concert.
