From collecting donor samples online in her living room, to having her partner (a New York City cop) inject her with fertility drugs, to her job as a fourth grade theatre teacher in Brooklyn, Debra Barsha’s take on the primal rush to beat the biological clock is not your ordinary view of conception. This one-woman musical comedy about the trials and tribulations of one lesbian’s face-off with alternative insemination is inventive and uproariously funny.
