Another American: Asking and Telling

Playwright/actor Marc Wolf performs his captivating one-man show concerning gay men and women in the military, and their feelings about President Clinton’s Don’t ask, don’t tell policy. Based on transcripts and interviews conducted over a three-year period, the 18 monologues are created from the interviewees’ actual words. Marc Wolf vividly and humorously portrays a variety of Americans from all branches of the military, cutting across ethnic, geographic and social lines. They are individuals who proudly and heroically serve their country and the military, requiring more than the usual amount of courage.
