April in Paris — Soulful Jazz With Parisienne Sass

International Jazz artist Joan Minor returns to the elegant Metropolitan Room with three top French musicians in her latest sparkling show April In Paris — Soulful Jazz With Parisienne Sass. This international collaboration breathes new life into standards from the American songbook. Known as the Joan Minor Quartet, this group performs jazz classics with innovative fluidity, which flows from combining their varied backgrounds and occasionally surprise with original compositions. Joan last performed there to a packed house in 2014.

In five years, the Joan Minor Quartet has established a distinguished musical footprint from touring in France and African countries. Strengths and interests of individual members result in mesmerizing performances, including syncopated rhythms picked up while touring the African continent.
