About the Show

Based on the 1997 documentary of the same name, Hands on a Hardbody tells the story of ten hard-luck Texans competing to win a fresh lease on life in the form of a new pickup truck. To prevail, they must endure the scorching sun for days on end as each competitor fights to be the last with at least one hand on the prized vehicle.

Featuring a book by Pulitzer Prize winner Doug Wright (Grey Gardens), music by Amanda Green (Bring It On: The Musical) and Phish’s Trey Anastasio, and lyrics by Amanda Green, Hands on a Hardbody depicts a hilarious, hard-fought contest where the prize is the American Dream.

General Rush tickets are $32.00 ($30 + $2 facility fee) and are available at the box office only on the day of the performance (at 10AM or on Sundays at noon). No student ID required. There is a maximum of two tickets per person. Cash only, please. Tickets are subject to availability and may not be offered at all performances.
