Winner of a 2017 Tony Award!
A self-obsessed actor (is there any other kind?) is having a midlife crisis. This leading man gets led astray by indulging his appetite for wine, women, and sleeping late, not necessarily in that order. A theater favorite, he finds himself caught amid crazed playwrights (is there any other kind?), fawning ingenues, secret trysts, and unexpected twists.
Who better to star in this Noël Coward comedy than real-life theater favorite Kevin Kline? Kline, a Tony- and Academy Award winner, takes on the role once filled by the playwright himself. Under the direction of Moritz von Stuelpnagel, this revival of Present Laughter promises to deliver on its title.
