The Man Who Came To Dinner

About the Show

The Roundabout Theatre Company presents The Man Who Came to Dinner, directed by Jerry Zaks and starring Nathan Lane. This comedy classic written by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman had a successful run after opening on Broadway in 1939, and subsequently became a film, a musical, and a television movie (with Orson Welles in the Nathan Lane role!). Lane is Sheridan Whiteside, a pompous writer and critic who is forced to stay with a Midwestern family during the winter and thoroughly disrupts their well-ordered lives. Jean Smart and Lewis J. Stadlen also star.

This will be the inaugral production at the new American Airlines Theater (formely known as the Selwyn).
