Thou Shalt Not

Lincoln Center Theater will present the world premiere of Thou Shalt Not, a new musical with book by David Thompson, music and lyrics by Harry Connick, Jr., and direction and choreography by Susan Stroman. Thou Shalt Not is a story of uncontrollable passion set in New Orleans after World War II. Based on Emile Zola’s “Therese Raquin,” the musical follows the tale of a young married woman whose life is changed by the arrival of a jazz musician returning from the war. The cast stars Craig Bierko, Leo Burmaster, Norbert Leo Butz, Kate Levering, and Debra Monk.
