Complexions Contemporary Ballet

Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson’s Complexions Contemporary Ballet returns to The Joyce with its unique blend of electrifying physicality, passion and virtuosity. Highlights include a new production of Pretty Gritty Suite, Rhoden’s sassy 2005 hit set to the music of Nina Simone, and The Peace Project, a collaborative new work directed by Rhoden, featuring a duet with the illustrious Carmen deLavallade and Desmond Richardson and choreography by company members.
