Damaged Care: The Musical Comedy about Health Care in America

About the Show

Damaged Care: The Musical Comedy about Health Care in America, written (and continually updated) and performed by two physicians, Dr. Greg LaGana and Dr. Barry Levy, has been presented Off Off Broadway and at many other venues across the country for the past 13 years. The show highlights issues of great concern to patients and health professionals, including the erosion of the doctor-patient relationship, inadequate access to medical care, depersonalization of services, inadequate emphasis on prevention, the excesses of cost containment, and the success of “superbugs.” The show will be followed by a discussion of health care issues led by Dr. LaGana and Dr. Levy. “Damaged Care” has been featured in the New York Times and on CNN Headline News, ABC Nightline, and elsewhere.
