From Tokyo to Times Square: Yayoi Ikawa

Join us for an evening of jazz with the Yayoi Ikawa Trio at Klavierhaus on Tuesday, December 3, as part of our Japanese Jazz Piano Series, From Tokyo to Times Square. Yayoi Ikawa, born in Tokyo and musically nurtured in New York, is a versatile pianist, composer, arranger, and bandleader known for her innovative blend of traditional Japanese influences and contemporary jazz. After moving from Japan, she quickly embraced a range of styles, including jazz, gospel, R&B, soul, classical, and world music.
