Marguerite and Gloria, both in their mid-60s, have been close friends for over 40 years. When they get together one evening to plan Gloria’s wedding to a man she has never met, a crack in their bond appears. Marguerite confesses that she believes her friend is being catfished. Gloria believes her friend should simply support her on her new journey and not challenge her to be more than she is. Over the course of several months, the two begin to reveal their deepest fears, which involve love, betrayal, loss, death, and abandonment. The deepest fear – becoming invisible. It’s a comedy.
This production is an Equity Approved Showcase and was made possible with support from the NYC Women’s Fund for Media, Music and Theatre by the City of New York Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment in association with the New York Foundation for the Arts.
