Jackie Draper returns to the Beechman with “Something More to Dance
About.” Jackie celebrates ongoing progress and challenge in the dance of
life, through songs in English, French, Portuguese. Composers and lyricists
include Aznavour, the Bergmans, Berlin, Coleman, Ellington, Fain, Feather,
Fields, Harnick, Jobim, Kern, Lee, Legrand, Lerner, Nascimento, Parker,
Porter, Strayhorn, Strouse, Warren, Wodehouse. Dance punctuates the party.
