Find Letter X is Kate Gentile’s band which plays detailed, polyrhythmic compositions with improvisation. This will be the first performance since before the pandemic, and will include new music.
Snark Horse is a co-led band by Matt Mitchell and Kate Gentile that plays 1-bar compositions. They released an epic 6-CD studio box set last summer on Pi Recordings with various configurations of 8 additional musicians. For this unique performance, the Snark Horse rhythm section trio of Mitchell, Gentile, and Cass is joined by special guest Jeremy Viner
