Mary Cassatt: My Sex Is My Art Is My Life

Mary Cassatt: My Sex Is My Art Is My Life is a one-of-a-kind bio-play altogether different than the current crop of theater. But it is so much more; supremely talented Mary Cassatt was many years ahead of her time in art and feminism; a leading American suffragette who lived all her adult life in France. Her style was unique within the Impressionist Movement of which she was the only American! Friend to many highly placed people she was instrumental in forming outstanding art collections for museums, the Havermayer Collection at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art for example. You will recognize many famous names including art legends Renoir, Degas, Manet, Monet, Berthe Morisot, Thomas Eakins…but also Sigmund Freud, Claude Debussy, Alfred Stieglitz and Georgia O’ Keefe.

Please note that both evening performances will start at 7:00pm.

Doors will open at 6:30PM.
