About the Show

This show has been indefinitely postponed.

RPN Globe LLC and The Culture Project presents the first U.S. production of the French play Big Shoot by Koffi Kwahulé with English translation by Chantal Bilodeau. Gabriella Maione directs.

Written in 1999 after playwright Koffi Kwahulé’s return from a visit to Rwanda, Big Shoot is a politically energizing play dealing with themes of torture, terrorism and power. It is a confrontation between two men — an interrogator and his suspect — and the complex relationship they build. The play comes to life as the interplay between the two men takes place. It is a game of power, humiliation and the meaningful issues aroused about our contemporary world.
