Repertorio Espanol continues its 34th season with a return to its Festival of Colombian Theatre. Hagamonos Pasito (Let’s Take It Slow) is a comedy written and directed by Mario Ruiz. It features Spanish soap stars Martha Isabel Bolaños (“Betty, La Fea”) and Luis Eduardo Arango (“Me Llaman Lolita”). The play portrays the every-day life of a modern middle-class married couple in present-day Colombia who reflect their country’s unique being and their own colombianidad. They define who they are to each other through intimate conversations on love, the desire for children, mutual reproaches, mothers-in-law, vanishing sex drives ~ and suspicions of infidelity.
The performance is presented in Spanish without English translation.
