The original 1966 production, directed by Harold Prince and starring Jack Cassidy, Bob Holiday and Linda Lavin, opened at Alvin Theatre on March 29, 1966, and ran for 129 performances. Superman features the songs “You’ve Got Possibilities,” “You’ve Got What I Need” and “The Woman for The Man.”
