Jane Comfort and Company

Dancing, singing, acting, puppetry and the unexpected meet in the deeply layered dance theater works of Jane Comfort and Company.
This fall they present the New York premiere of Persephone, an athletic and lyrical dance with a set of neon and fiber optic sculptures by Keith Sonnier and live music by Tigger Benford.
Comfort’s gift for blending movement and narrative shines in her Bessie Award-winning theatrical tour de force Underground River and an updated excerpt from the political commentary Three Bagatelles for for the Righteous.
