Macbeth (Mirror Theater’s Young Mirror)

An imaginative take on Shakespeare’s Macbeth in the style of Acter Acter, a style developed by Patrick Stewart and Homer Swindon through the University of California, Santa Barbara. This production utilizes 5 actors; three men and two women, to strip bare Shakespeare’s plays to expose its deepest themes.
This style of performance sidesteps the distractions of scenery and “setting” in order to bring what is most important in the play directly to the surface. Alex Harvey directs.
