Off the Meter

Peter Zablotsky’s new play Off the Meter presents the ultimate fantasy: becoming your boss’s boss! Johnson is an investment banker for a major Wall Street firm. He does all the work, but gets none of the credit. Neither does Eddie, the cab driver going nowhere, as he takes the nouveau riche to all the places he can’t get into. Overworked, under-appreciated, passed over, and passed by, Johnson and Eddie team up for a scam to get their piece of the pie.
